We had an awesome 6+ mile hike up through the Cascade Canyon (again bear country) in Grand Tetons NP and the views were worth it 😍 For a part of the hike, we actually hiked through snow.

@pratik Tetons is beautiful country! I love that ridge directly across from it which has a long road running across. Great views!

Also, funny name :D

@nitinkhanna Haha! I learned about the origin of the word here. Those Frenchmen were lonely for sure.

@vega I’ve always had a special place in my soul for the mountains. A small and tiny mountain range relatively but very pretty.

@pratik Your beautiful pictures remind me of the trip my husband and I took thru Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons about 20 years ago. For some reason that I can’t remember we entered the park from the North and I remember the road into the park was beautiful and empty.

@klandwehr Did you land at Bozeman or Jackson? If it’s the former then it would be the North entrance otherwise South.

@pratik We were driving west and I remember going thru Bozeman, so I am assuming we were taking the northern route across the U. S. I just remember that when we drove into the park early in the morning we were all alone on the road and it was absolutely stunning

@klandwehr We went that way too. It’s a great drive and I imagine 20 years ago there would’ve been lot fewer people and buildings around. You must’ve driven thru the Roosevelt Arch.
