@pratik I still have it in my RSS reader along with some other sites I consider aggregators whose contents can sometimes be interesting but have to be verified. Still some gems in the links from time to time!
@clorgie Yup. I guess something in the past pissed me off and I stopped reading. As an aggregator, it may be worth keeping an eye on but there’s only so many sites I can keep a tab on.
@pratik you’ve offered an interesting critique there. Do you know of any academic economists / ‘public intellectuals’ who manage to do justice to both roles at the same time? Seems like one or the other might slip. It’s surely hard to keep up the gruelling academic publication pace while also blogging up a storm. Stalwart blogger John Quiggin published 29 items in 2023.
@writingslowly It’s definitely difficult unless you can write well in both mediums. I used to love reading the Becker-Posner blog. I think my former boss could if he wanted to blog but he didn’t even a social.
