Any Shortcuts experts out there willing to help me? I want to create a shortcut to remind me within 24 hours of a party, gathering, etc. to text the host with a thank-you for the invitation. 💌

@heyscottyj Hi! I mean 24 hours after the start of the event. An example: I’m invited to dinner at a friend’s that begins at 18:00 Sunday. I’d like to text a thank-you for the event by 18:00 Monday.

@cygnoir Gotcha! That can be done! One thing to rely on though is some kind of indicator that a particular calendar item needs follow up on. Is there a tag or title indicator of some sort, or a specific calendar for these kinds of events?

What you would want to do with this is make an automation that runs overnight (I have mine set up for 12:05 am/00:05), and runs a Shortcut without asking.
