Mandating smaller cars (instead of incentivizing larger ones, like the US long has) might be the least popular policy that saves the most lives.

@odd @jsonbecker Haha, “no guns” was my first thought too. But big cars are a (heh) huge problem too.

@jarrod @odd I think between pedestrian deaths and pollutions, large cars may be a bigger problem than assault weapons (but maybe not bigger than all guns).

@jsonbecker Automobile accidents kill about as many people as firearm deaths in the US each year, I believe.
