Fantastical cancelled … and subscription finally ran out this past weekend - and now Jax gives me her box of business cards that she wants scanned in!!

Any good alternatives? Do not want to sign up again.

@JohnPhilpin With the non-subscription version of Cardhop I can open camera app on iPhone, point at business card. tap the select text button. Select text, then tap share then in the share menu select Cardhop. It automagically pulls the text into a new contact card. Probably not as fast as using the paid version scanning process but still automated and perhaps quicker than typing it in. @pratik

@Denny

Holy Mackerel and slap me with a feather … what an extraordinary piece of information that I never knew.

Did not have a card to hand, but I just reinstalled Cardhop, copied a pile of text out of drafts that I had copied earlier for something completely different.

Once copied … pasted into Cardhop and as you say .. voila.

Thankyou so very much. Never knew that was possible .. when I bought into Fantastical, that functionality was premium didn’t even think there might be a free work around.

Solved ... Likely by backs approach will be to do this on the Mac, easier flows, muscle memory and multiple screens.

THANKYOU
