I wrapped my day posts on the homepage together because I don’t think it was obvious that I arrange my posts within a day chronologically while reverse-chronologically arranging the days on the page. But not sure if it makes the blog feel narrow. Maybe I should increase the width

@pratik ah this is almost exactly what I’ve wanted to do and what’s kept me using Blot because I haven’t been able to figure it out with Hugo/micro.blog. Gonna do some digging and stealing from you soon.

@humdrum Please do. I've shared the code on the chronological within reverse-chronological on Mb Help forum. I tinkered around to get this wrapping based on what I learned from creating my 'Now' page.

@g Yup but he makes his dates bolder so doesn't need the separation between days.

@pratik I like it. I've been thinking of doing something like that. I like the way Dave Winer does it but I don't want to host on his service (for a number of reasons, none of them having to do with him personally). Do you happen to have a link to the code, or some keywords I can use to search for it on the forum? Thanks!

I suspect it may be beyond my skills to implement this, but it's worth looking into.

@MitchW Here's how my homepage is coded:

html code for homepage

BTW I do exclude posts with three categories from appearing on the homepage (third line). That may be optional for you.

@pratik Thanks! This may be beyond my coding abilities, which are near zero.

I'm thinking I want tabs, like scripting.com--one for my own posts, one for links, and maybe even a third for photos? Easy solution would be to host on radio3/oldschool, but I worry about the long-term viability of those platforms.
