Watched: The Matrix, 1999 - ★★★★★ 🎥

@pratik @thedimpause Same here, each time I’ve rewatched it still has the same unique feeling as seeing it the first time.

@pimoore @pratik Yes, one of my favourite films. Planning to watch Reloaded and Revolutions over the next week or so to see what I think of them now.

@TheDimPause @pimoore previous times I have rewatched them, the sequels haven’t lived up to the rest of time. Tried too hard and added too much fluff/tackiness.

@pratik @thedimpause I didn’t mind Reloaded, especially the car chase and fight scenes which I thought were amazing. Revolutions on the other hand was downright terrible, and watching it again recently didn’t change my opinion in the slightest. Thankfully I watched it for free on TV so I didn’t have to pay for the disappointment. 😂

@pimoore @pratik Reloaded has just been my Saturday afternoon viewing 🎬. And I did enjoy it! Spectacular in places - as you say, most of the fights and the freeway sequence. It does advance the storyline in a relatively satisfactory way, just a little verbose at times!

@TheDimPause Guess I've to give it another shot. Not sure if I can watch it with our 10-year-old like we did with the first one.
