@hawaiiboy I think Hawaii’s geography gives it that excuse. In Texas, El Paso, one of the state’s largest cities is not on Texas’s grid hence didn’t suffer from blackouts.
@pratik the other benefit here on Hawaii island is that we are forging ahead with renewable energy. Wind, solar and geothermal are becoming prevalent.
