@manton I’m calling that a 1910-20 upright, but someone redid the design on the front…any family history on that?
@agiletortoise She had it essentially forever, but I can’t remember where it came from! Wish I knew the history. It has moved a lot, needs tuning badly. 🙂
@manton There may still be identifying information on the inside, but this looks for sure to be late 1800s or early 1900s. The Monarch brand was big then, as was this style of full upright. Bet it weighs *so* much. Probably not worth much for lack of demand these days, but they were nice instruments and really fill a room with sound.
