As a 47 year old man, I yearn for a pastime that gives me as much joy as watching 30 minutes of Mr. Wizard did as a kid.

@poetalegre The Wayback (or WABAC) machine was featured in the Mr. Peabody & Sherman episodes of the Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoon show. The two characters would use the machine to time-travel to some historical event. @danielpunkass I loved Mr Wizard, though I must have seen an earlier incarnation: I watched it in the 1950s. My dad would help me replicate some of the experiments.
