@pcora I used to bring one as a "satellite" bullet journal. So I would write to it if I didn't have my bullet journal with me. But I stopped doing that ever since I got the Obsidian app with sync on my phone, I would simply write the notes on my phone.
That said, it can still be useful if you want to write down notes in a setting where pulling your phone out is inappropriate, for instance if you want to write down notes in church.
@pcora Sigh. I have a stack of Field Notes, and I never use them except when traveling. I write all the necessary contact info and itineraries if my phone dies or I lose my phone. Other than that, my phone is my notebook.
@josephaleo @marty @dino thanks for sharing. Before committing money into it, I took a stack of A4 paper, folded to have a similar size and will try to use for a few days 🙄
@pcora if you want to test it with a cheaper notebook, you can try these Moleskine notebooks : www.amazon.fr/dp/B07J33... (3 notebooks 7,90€ - same format as Field Notes).
And here's a video comparing the two : www.youtube.com/watch
