@dhester Currently, I don’t use a journal app. But last I did, I used Apple’s native Journal app and liked it. Now with a Mac app available, maybe more people will start using it.

@dhester I like the idea of Day One, but somehow I never feel compelled to use it. I cancel it every year and then, when the subscription is all set to run out, I subscribe again. Sigh.
@dhester Wait….Automatic acquired Day One? I had no idea. I’ve been journalling in Day One since 2011. Now I’ve having second thoughts. And yes, Apple’s Journal app is coming to Mac OS 26 as well as iPad OS 26. Now I have zero reason to at least give it a shot.
@jeknotes I agree with everything you said about Day One. I can’t see myself switching to Apple’s app. However, I am curious to try it once the new OS updates are released. They’ve added some nice features and it will finally be available on all of their devices.
