A successful beard trim. My moustache looks particularly perky.

@BenSouthwood My ‘stache is what gives me the most trouble, honestly. I don’t like to trim it much because that takes away too much bulk, when it’s not particularly strong to begin with. Since it doesn’t have much bulk to begin with though, I find no product I apply to it will keep it in check—the hairs don’t support each other. As a result it usually reverts to the walrus look, much to my wife’s chagrin.

@BenSouthwood I’m envious of a good beard/mustache! From what I’ve seen on you earlier, you wear it very well. Right now I’m mustache only, but it’s not trimmed very nice. 👨🏻

@pimoore I actually have very thin facial hair, most of it is as unruly as the hair on my head. I think maintaining a shape that doesn’t show the wispy bits is key.

@odd I genuinely don’t have a great beard, just patience and a decent trim. I get envious myself of those thick and lustrous beards and ‘taches.

@BenSouthwood This is a key for me as well I think. Unfortunately the barber I saw a couple of times left town, and he’s the only one I trusted to trim mine. Ever since I’ve been doing it myself—I’m better at it but not perfect.
