@inthedeltawaves @jaredwhite This community is full of those kinds of people, to the point where it’s easy to feel unsafe at times. Many of them drive around with oversized flags flying from hockey sticks on their pickup truck, honking their horns and acting like assholes. The same people with “Fuck Trudeau” decals on their vehicles, some of whom undoubtedly attended the insurrection in Ottawa last winter.
@jaredwhite Thanks, sorry to read of the far-right people you’ve encountered as well. Sadly this behaviour is becoming a terrifying norm, with no end in sight. It’s one of so many reasons I’m not sure I can — or want to — continue living here.
