Feedbin can share and save articles to a variety of services. For services it doesn’t offer direct support, it’s possible to manually configure the integration. That’s what I’ve done with Micro.blog. In Settings & Share, I’ve added:

https://micro.blog/bookmark?url=${url}

@otaviocc Whoa, this is really great! I’m assuming the URL is your user account bookmark link?

@pimoore @otaviocc Is the direct connection not working? I don't have a Feedbin account to test.

As Pete says, this looks more like something to do with Micro.blog's Bookmarking features.

Ben also covers subscribing to your timeline.

@SimonWoods @otaviocc I had no idea this was a thing, but I never use the web interface for Feedbin. There’s also the option of the share sheet to the iOS micro.blog app, which you can specify to send the link as a bookmark. This solution directly from Feedbin would save the step though.

@SimonWoods that’s a good reference, you got the inside scoop on that or something? 😉

@pimoore @SimonWoods my bad. I was so worried counting characters I forgot to mention that link’s to save an article as bookmark in Micro.blog.

I usually use NetNewsWire to read, but on my work computer I do everything from the browser therefore I use feedbin directly. This integration to save as bookmark changed the way I save things for later.

@pimoore the url is the yellow from the article. The integration resolves that variable, we don’t have to do anything, just add this URL as is when setting up the integration.
