Better understanding of Micro.blog templates and Hugo means that @TIL has had its first design-based updates that I was able to batch together. 👀
It’s not much but I think I’ll be able to put some bigger changes together once I get full-time access to a computer. 😅
@simonwoods I’m trying to do the same thing right now to tweak my site, and hopefully port a theme over which I’m planning to share with the community.
Was there a specific source(s) you used to learn from?
@pimoore Mix of messing around, some of the resources from the community, and the Hugo site itself. It’s also similar to the theme system of some message boards I used to run, which helped; I guess all website design has enough in common to make that more than happenstance.
@simonwoods So far Inspect browser and the M.B. Discourse have been my friends, but I’m likely going to need the Hugo site as well.
