@ajennische Big decisions. I've had that situation last year, even though it was not the result of much thought, but simply an effect of Covid, and loved it.

@maique Do you earn enough money without a steady job?

@ajennische In a regular year, yes. For the past two years, no. It's not easy when the work depends on moving around freely, and having people together in places. The government stepped in, albeit in a smaller way than some of us wished, and movieStar is still working, so that worked out.

@maique Glad you were able to keep things going and get support, it’s been a very difficult go of things during this pandemic for a lot of jobs and careers. And sadly, many didn’t survive.

@pimoore Yeah, a lot of businesses are going under here as well. Thankfully the government helped a lot of people. And we do have an amazing family, always ready to help. In the end it was actually great, if I might even say that, we got to spend a lot of time with the baby and the money was enough. We feel very privileged, a lot of folks don't have that going for them.

@maique That’s true, same with working from home which while an adjustment initially, gave people the chance to avoid the cost and hassle of commuting and provided a feeling of safety during a difficult pandemic.

@pimoore @maique Me and my wife have been lucky too. We’ve been able to work from home since the beginning of the pandemic. My wife, who is self employed, hasn’t been affected as we thought.
