I feel like Slack indeed replaced email at work today, but in doing so it also became not fun at all
@alexsavin I’m making the move back to embracing and utilizing email as a more primary communication medium. I’ve reached out to some bloggers I follow in response to their writing, and they’ve been genuinely enjoyable conversations and dialog, akin to the ones I have here. It made me realize how much I’ve missed personal email.
Work email is a different and necessary beast, but I’ll take it over Slack/Teams/Next-Big-Thing-in-Communication any day.
