I don’t want to celebrate without further testing, but I may have brought my Lamy 2000 back from dropped-and-thought-dead status. For now, I’ll call it a conditional victory.

@twweaver that’s the “high-level” fountain pen I want to get. I use quotes around that because the rabbit hole goes much deeper — and pricier — than that.

@peterimoore I love mine - and cut off the rabbit hole there. Was lucky it's such a great pen.

@jakelacaze Definitely. I made the same upgrade - and do return to the Safari from time to time. But the heft of the 2000 makes it easier for me to write with.
