@mikedotfm as long as the Shazam functionality, which I love so much stays, Iām ok with that.

@mikedotfm I will miss being able to upload music along side the streaming library, but I guess that is what a Plex server is for
@mikedotfm @pilch I'd be surprised to see Google drop the upload feature, at least not quickly, since they're still super interested in the basic idea of uploading everything you own to their platforms.
@mikedotfm It's tempting to say you could also call the end of YouTube Music while you're at it :P Sure, it hasn't launched yet but how likely do you think it is that it lasts five years?
@mikedotfm I'm afraid too. I have subscribed every now and then, but the best feature for is the free one, that I can upload my own library.
@pyrmont in the music app? It's just the videos in audio format, so most of the time the ending promotional content is not removed. Plus the app is pretty terrible - no good playlist features or usual music app features.
@nitinkhanna Yeah, that'd be my big concern. There are a handful of songs on YouTube that I wish were in Apple Music but it's truly a handful and not worth putting up with what you're describing.
@nitinkhanna if you've got an adequate collection, it has some pretty nice features. the problem is people keep making new music, and i can't afford to buy it all and host it myself haha
