Does anyone make a good email app thats not just for gmail?

I am suck in a circle of: “Oh that looks like what I need.” Scour website for information and find nothing. Download “Oh great, another front for gmail”

@phlsa @gregmorris Yeah, I like Spark. I use their classic version on macOS.

@gregmorris this is how I feel about Mimestream. I’m still on Mail.

@jarrod @phlsa I have tried Spark a few times and I cant get on with it. Overly complicated for no real advantage, and not being able to have the latest email at the top of the threads is a deal breaker.

@jsonbecker Agreed. That would be perfect for my usage but I use office365.

@gregmorris MailMate. Not everybody’s cup of tea, but it’s just awesome. Plain text, markdown, custom keyboard bindings, send later…

@gregmorris I remember the time I used Canary, and liked it a lot. Just checked and they seem to be very much into AI nowadays…

@gregmorris yeah, I'm stuck not just on Office but specifically using Outlook only for my corporate email these days. It's a bummer. My personal stuff is on Fastmail, and I remain hopeful that one day Mimestream will build JMAP support.
