I picked up a Baronfig Confidant notebook for my nightly journal. I’m not as impressed with it as I hoped I’d be. Part of that may be my pen. What are you using to write in your Baronfig? (Note, I sadly don’t write at a desk, but on my lap in bed. If that matters.)

@bjhess I’ve had mine for more than a couple of years and only managed to fill it half way. I use my iPad mini way more.

@bjhess I use a pen with a Fisher Space Pen refill. They're nice because you can write in basically any angle with them. I've also never had trouble with paper types with this pen either. I have the Field Notes Expedition edition with have a glossy finish on them for waterproofing. Where other pens have blotted on me, the Space Pen has always wrote nicely on these notebooks. You can find Space Pens in office supply stores.

@bjhess I have been less impressed with BF products than with their branding, myself

@bjhess I like Baron Fig - personally. I have several. I use them for various things. But my main journal - even if you are not going to "bullet journal" is the edition 2 - bulletjournal.com/products/... 120 GSM paper. very nice.

@terrygrier That paper does look quite different from what I'm experiencing. Nice!
