Pressfield’s “The War of Art” is one page about an anthropomorphic “Resistance”. That page is then repeated 150 times. This was my 3rd attempt but I’ve decided everyone is wrong and that it’s just a terrible book.

@jack it’s the repetition that drives the point home. Just when you think you have a specific case that exempts you, nope!

@jack I wonder if the same can be said for most "self-help" books.

@rishabh Yes, I find many of them to suffer from some of the same problems, yes. I usually read the first few chapters, skim, and then read the end. I don't feel like I'm missing anything important.
