Out on today’s run, I was visited by a very large dog (a St. Bernard, I think) who had no concept of proper social distancing. I stopped (necessary, as he kept bumping against my legs) and gave him many pats while telling him he was a very good dog. 🏃🏻♂️
@strandlines I slowed to a walk until I reached the next corner, at which point the dog saw a runner going the other way, and crossed the street to see if she was doing something more interesting. At that point I was able to resume my run. :-)
