Apple bringing transcripts for podcasts is very cool. In fact the only thing stopping me from using the built in Podcasts app is the lack of a smart speed feature. I’m so used to having it that when I listen to a podcast without it it sounds really slow.

@philbowell I concur. I listen to everything on Overcast, most of it modestly sped-up.

@philbowell Good. I can't stand listening to podcasts (why??) but would often love to be able to read the content.

@JohnBrady that’s what I thought. Sometimes I don’t want to listen to something but I do want to read it and I find listening and reading some things (like the Bible) really helps with properly taking it in.
