Trying to customise a Micro.blog theme, but I can’t tell if it’s not working or if Safari on iPad caches too aggressively. Should’ve bought my aging MacBook Pro.

@philbowell I use the DuckDuckGo browser when I run into that issue. Allows you to clear cache immediately with one click. I use Safari for everything, but when unsure about caching, switch to DDG and test.
@philbowell If you’re using GitHub, you’ll need to refresh it on m.b’s side. If you’re editing template files directly and have an error, it’ll give you an error message on the Design page in m.b. If you’re just editing CSS and it isn’t working, this app can help a bit.
@philbowell Go to the Design Page then edit your custom theme. There’s an unlabeled refresh button there.
@Mtt Thanks, it seems to be there in the custom theme on my test blog, but it’s not actually showing on the page when I visit the test blog. I expected this to be far easier than it’s proving to be. I think I need to understand how Hugo theming works, but I’ve only added a simple piece of html so far and can’t get it to display.
@Mtt Ooops, user error. I had a custom theme set as well as a custom plugin theme.
