I am constantly torn when it comes to Google. I don’t like their data collecting strategy but the design of their products is very attractive and appeals to me which makes me want to use them…
@philbowell Google’s products are attractive? Which ones?! Haha. I’m only kidding, I have some google products also. Their software (gmail, docs etc) is looking pretty old now.
@AndyNicolaides I actually find the new gmail UI quite nice looking. I use Fastmail but it’s quite utilitarian in comparison and the calendar is lacking. Better than iCloud though 😂
@philbowell the data collection is bad enough, but the three apps I liked and used, Wave, Reader and Plus all got killed off.
