Considering installing the iOS and iPadOS betas… anyone done so yet?
@philbowell Still on the fence, afraid the banking apps, and a couple others, might not work. I believe @vincent has it installed already.
@philbowell They're usually only updated when the final version is launched. Some do work, but I have an account, the one I use most often, that is an app-only bank, no other way to interact with it. A little scary.
@maique @philbowell I installed the first public beta a couple of nights ago. Absolutely no issues at all so far. And both of my banking apps work fine. But they’re bigger banks, so maybe that could make a difference.
@maique in a similar situation where my main account is an app only bank. They’re quite on it though so it might be ok.
@philbowell @maique Yeah, I've been running the dev betas. They've been fine... nothing too broken. Battery life suffers the most though. On the Mini (Phone) it doesn't last me much at all if I decide to use it... although thinking about it, it doesn't last that long anyway. Banking apps work, but my banks are on the ball with it as they're "modern".
