My library has moved over to using Libby for lending of ebooks etc. It offers a download in ePub for use on eReaders like the Kobo, but not the Kindle. I’ve never considered looking into any other eReaders, might be time to explore. 📚

@philbowell have you tried filtering "Preferences" to "Supports" -> "kindle"? Maybe it carries my library, but I've use Libby with four different libraries to get books on my kindle. Not all books are available that way and newer ones take a bit longer, but I've felt like most do for me.
