@jarrod are you using Robb’s Echofeed to crosspost to mastodon? I also use quickreviews but the ALT text was appearing in the body of the toot when it crossposted from m.b to mastodon.

@peterw No, I just use Micro.blog’s built-in Fediverse compatibility. No crossposting to a traditional Mastodon account here. Is alt text a variable you can control in EchoFeed? Also be careful of quote marks in the alt text. I’ve found that can make things a little screwy.

@pratik I didn’t have any quote marks so was a bit stumped on what the problem is. Robb is taking a look. I was starting to use Echofeed as the m.b cross posting can unfortunately be unreliable at times.
