Since the update to WatchOS 10 my S7 watch is only charged to 80% when I put it on in the morning. I finally found where to turn off Optimised Charging:

  • Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
  • Scroll down, then tap Battery.
  • Tap Battery Health.
  • Turn off Optimized Battery Charging.

@Miraz thank you! I was trying to work out why the battery seemed to be running down faster following the update. I’ve just realised it’s not running down, it just wasn’t fully charged to begin with.

@meandering Yes, Day 1 my battery ran way down by mid-afternoon, I think it was and it was probably that. I now have battery charge showing on my regular watch face.
