@jean I have some woollen TARDIS socks that a colleague made for me. It became a running joke about how long she was taking to do them and the fact she was knitting during meetings to finally finish them off.

@meandering Sad fact was that one day earlier President Kennedy was assassinated, which lowered the number of viewers. So, it was repeated next Saturday, preceeding the next episode, The Cave of Skulls. For most British viewers this was the first time they watched Doctor Who, not on November 23.
