@Troydp I'm both sorry and gratified to hear that it's not just me š¤£
I've thought about trying to switch to a lunchtime running schedule, but then I have to figure out when to eat lunch. Seems like potentially a solvable problem, though.
@petebrown I have the same issues: not even remotely a āmorning personā but running wakes my body up so I canāt run too late. The best solution I found was to run in the afternoon, right after work.
@gregmoore Whatās weird is that it was totally fine up until a year or so ago. I used to actually sleep better on the nights when I ran. Must be an age/metabolism thing ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ
@petebrown I completely understand this, for me I think it doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night at this point but I don't do it very often anymore. However, I just remember when I used to do the later night running a couple years back it would just keep me awake much longer than I would have liked to but once I would fall asleep I would sleep sound. Probably was then I would want to wake up earlier as I went to sleep later š¤·āāļø.
@petebrown likely not what you want to hear, but I had the same issue. So, I only run in the mornings now. Of course, now that I'm getting up so early, I can't imagine running in the evening
@mroutley Yeah, that's mostly what I figure at this point. I'm up early every morning, but I just don't feel like running š¤£
@petebrown FWIW, when I started running/exercising more to lose weight my doctor told me that everyone is different. Some people have trouble sleeping after exercise some don't. I normally run around 4-4:30pm when able but sometimes as late as 6:30pm. Never as late as 8pm.
