Honest question: Am I paranoid or too worried? People leave their stuff all alone on their desk in this WeWork space. Their phone, computer unlocked. They were away for around 4 minutes. Enough time to be evil. If I wanted to 😇🤷♂️🤔🤔🤔
@holgerfrohloff the last time I left my stuff unlocked like that was in 2007 in my then-employer’s office in Boston. A couple of co-workers sent an email from my laptop to our CTO saying “I quit!” The CTO was in on the gag, but I have never left my laptop unlocked since.
@holgerfrohloff This person obviously never worked in an office like mine where pranks are at the ready. Four minutes is plenty of time to take a screenshot of the desktop, set it as the wallpaper background, and hide all the real desktop files and folders into a safe but out of the way location.
