Since we still have this nice weather I decided while my girls were at dance I would go run across my hidden bridge again. Only too bad it gets dark so early as once I got back on pavement to trek back it was dark.

@mroutley I actually don’t like headlamps but I have things called knuckle lights. However, you are right I do need to get them charged up and ready to go if I am going to keep running in the evenings.

@ericmwalk @mroutley I've got a set of rechargeable lights that clip onto my shoes. I run most nights, and they're a must for me through the winter, especially for spotting icy patches on the pavement.

@petebrown @ericmwalk lights on the shoes is a good idea, I haven’t seen those before. I legitimately couldn’t see the ground on a recent trail run. Really not safe

@mroutley @petebrown lights on the shoes that is an interesting concept. What are you using? I am sure I can find something but if you have something that is rechargable and you like I would be interested to know.

@ericmwalk @mroutley I'd never heard of them either until somebody gave me a pair of Night Runner 270s for Christmas a few years back. They're great—USB-rechargeable, very lightweight, and quite bright.
