@gr36 We had the most amazing time there, even though we couldn't really visit a huge part of the country. They are always dealing with issues. We would love to go back as well. Hopefully you'll be able to visit as planned!
@gr36 Was it a mine field thing? In Myanmar the had(have?) huge areas of the country where foreigners couldn’t go. A lot of the country was off limits to us.
@maique finally managed to caught up to the posts and I am now up to date!! The images are amazing. One question, if I may. How is your approach when taking people photos, do you ask first? Do you shot from the hip or some other sneaky way?
@pcora Thank you, glad you’re enjoying the ride. As far as photos, I’ll usually approach with the camera/phone already in shooting position, but looking at the person and smiling 😊 If they seem ok, I’ll just shoot. Then I’ll talk and shoot some more. A couple of times I might have been sneakier, but I always try to make sure they understand what I’m doing, while trying to capture them in a natural state of mind, not posing.
@maique but on these cases, where you are smiling at them, do you have the camera on your face or the face is not covered?
