@frankm The electorate has been conditioned to believe their vote does not matter. And considering the options, they are likely right.

@paulcraig901 Thanks to the electoral college, they are right because votes in the United States are not equal. A vote in California is not going to decide a presidential election, but my vote in Michigan might due to electoral math.

@frankm The electoral college is part of the issue. The other part is the minimal differences between the two dominant parties. We’re left attempting to choose the lesser evil. And lesser evil choices are highly individualistic.
