Mount Ruapehu appears across Lake Rotokura. I had a lovely 75 minute walk there but saw only a very few birds.

@patrickrhone The mountains in central North Island in Aotearoa New Zealand are quite something!

@Miraz I have cousins who live in NZ. I last saw them together in 1966 when they were very young.
