@joelhamill I do not think that is the concern here. From the article: “The letter specifically references geofence warrants, a controversial technique in which law enforcement agencies request that tech companies provide data on all mobile phones that passed through a geographically defined area in a certain time period.” My understanding is Google does give this information to the Government when legally required. (But I also wouldn’t put it past them to share with a select set of corporations under specific circumstances.)
