I keep finding myself looking at mechanical keyboards… not sure if this is a good thing or not.

@philbowell If you're unsure whether this is a good idea, stay away from them. It's a rabbit hole! And it's virtually impossible to stop at just one. I have four!
@otaviocc This is what I fear, but they keep sucking me in and I'm having issues with my current Logitech keyboard. What ones do you have?
@philbowell I use my logitech k380 more now as having a quiet keyboard is actually more important for work calls. I do sometimes eye a split keyboard though.
@ChrisJWilson @phil That's the one I've been using for many yeas. It feels very cheap and plasticky, but I love the K380. I started out with a universal layout, but a couple of years ago I upgraded to a Mac layout.
@vladcampos @ChrisJWilson I have the MX Keys Mini for Mac which looks like it shares the same layout as yours. Really I want a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID that can pair to multiple devices.
@philbowell @vladcampos that is the dream. I don’t have too many issues with the unlock by Apple Watch / reaching to my open MacBook Air, but I’d love a multi device touchID keyboard. Especially if I could use touchID on the Mac and iPad.
@ChrisJWilson @phil I only use Touch ID on my Mac, as it is my sole Apple device. At the office, I arranged my desk so that I can comfortably type on the K380 and, at the same time, easily reach the sensor on my computer. It took me many trials and errors, but I love this arrangement.
@philbowell nothing fancy. I have the Logitech MX Mechanical for macOS, a couple of Preonics, and a couple of Planks. I really, really like ortho keyboards. For writing, they are awesome, but for coding, not so much.
