Just learned about a reader app called Matter — looks like it could be good. Not sure if it does RSS or not, but it looks like it does.
(Reminder: our goal is to get people using RSS. Doesn’t have to be NetNewsWire!)

@NetNewsWire I have found Matter to be a lovely experience for article consumption later (generally sent from my RSS) 😃👍
@NetNewsWire what I like about Matter is how easy it is to export all the highlights from an article. I can easily export highlighs to Obsidian (or any other app) directly in Markdown.
@NetNewsWire it's not an easy task to export highlights from Pocket, Instapaper, and Micro.blog. The easist way to extract from Pocket and Instapaper is using an external (paid) service, such as Readwise. For Micro.blog it's not even possible to extract highlights. Matter offers it out of the box.
My flow is usually: triage using NetNewsWire, read and highlight using Matter, and take notes and store highlights using Obsidian.
@otaviocc Maybe different from what you're after, but it looks like there's an API for fetching highlights.
@NetNewsWire I’m a Matter user, and I find it a very nice app. Not sure about RSS either, though. I save articles from web and highlight them, but haven’t used feeds.
