Ya know, maybe the iPad with keyboard is the miniature laptop I have always coveted/hoped would exist.

@hjalm I’m a software engineer, and the iPad isn’t exactly a device for coding. But lucky me, I have a powerful company laptop where I do all my coding and, for that reason I can “afford” to have an iPad as personal computer (with a Magic Keyboard attached to it).

@hjalm the one thing I did was to turn off the weird mouse behavior. I'm not a big fan of the cursor automatically snapping to certain UI elements.

@otaviocc I hadn't looked at that option, yet. I'm glad to know it exists!

@otaviocc I'm not ready to say I could do all my Technical Support-related work with it. But for the things I do for myself, the iPad is proving to be more and more competent.
