Can I just say that the Magic Keyboard Case makes an iPad feel like a completely new device.
I love the integration of the Mac keyboard shortcuts that are already ingrained.
I also love that there’s no bluetooth or other connection to manage.
@hjalm my only complain is that the Magic Keyboard doesn’t handle well other languages. Façade, Straße, très, etc… these characters require some time to master using key combinations.
@otaviocc The Mac key combinations seem to work for the ones I remember, but it doesn't seem to work like iOS where you hold the key and select the alternate character. On the Mac, I always have the Character Palette in the menu bar. I'm not aware of a similar feature in iOS.
@hjalm one the macOS I have ‘US’ and ‘US International’ configured. Which simplifies things. For instance + e = è. Don’t need to use Option and some character to find the. For é is just ‘ + e instead of Option + e followed by e again.
But OK, after a while it gets natural. I bet I’ll be using Option combinations on macOS at some point soon.
