Where do recipe writers get their Prep times from? I reckon they must roll the dice. 10 minutes, pah! More like 40!

@odd Maybe they have kitchen helpers who chop and dice and measure and weigh and combine and then the timer starts…

@styler That could work, perhaps. Today the step of making the sauce took well more than 10 minutes and there was much chopping etc before that.
