Has anyone used a good app for doing a room layout (2-D) for placing furniture etc? I don’t care if it is “pretty” mainly just lookin for the layout aid. I’ve always done it on paper up until now. I do it rarely and just dont’ want to pay $$$.
@ronguest I’ve used Google Sketchup to do it before. Works ok for my use. Looks like it’s been bought or in a subsidiary now…(?) www.sketchup.com
@tones This has been my approach. I did a 2-D drawing on grid paper of my study years ago, including scale versions of furniture, and I’ve probably re-used it 3 times now when I’ve revised my setup. I was just curious if there was yet an appealing alternative (which to me would involve iPad Pro + Apple Pencil).
