Yo Internet, why does the Voyager theme tug at my heartstrings so? I barely remember the show but it always gets me misty.
@KimberlyHirsh I listened to it now, and to me it hits all the right notes. I can’t describe it as anything but a “heroic victory score”. Maybe someone with a academic music background could tell us more…
@odd But that's true of lots of Star Trek music. I think there's something else going on here. Maybe I'll figure it out when I rewatch Voyager.
