@ridwan Yes, the word being used very loosely… Traditionally, patriots used to defend a country against foreign aggression against its own lawfully elected government.

@odd @jeannie Honestly speaking I really worry about the impact of fake news stories and social media manipulation on local communities. I know that politicians and grifters always existed with malicious intent but the social media age just amplifies it; causing harm & destruction.

@odd Yep! So true! With so much information thrown at us. I guess we all eventually tune out.
