@odd I am amazed you can bear the darkness. I spent the xmas holidays in Denmark which is not very far away from Berlin, Germany. But still, I experienced it as considerably more dark than at home. Norway must be pitch black in my ignorant imagination. I could not stand it. 😉
@holgerfrohloff We don’t have many hours of daylight November-January. Up in Tromsø and further north it’s pitch black all day long for a while! I’m used to it, but it it weren’t for Christmas and the lights and mood around it, the winter would be even harder. I’m looking forward to February now. Then it’s noticeably longer days. That’s when it’s the best period for northern lights in northern Norway.
