@odd I was going to move to the other instance I'd created an account on but I went there only to see announcements that they can't afford the hosting fees. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@jack Some decades ago I ran a fairly large fully moderated email mailing list for an active church community. Those on the list loved the service. But omigod, what a HUGE amount of work that was. Never again. Successfully retired. 😃

@jack Fosstodon is a nice place to be and the admins have a funding plan for the future. They keep 6 months funding in hand.
