Me: “Not much point in worrying about missing the last train in the US. There’s just missing the train.”

Steven: “Right. You’re just lucky if there is a last train.”

@odd That would be wonderful. Where I live there actually ARE two trains home from Chicago (one that gets me home in time for a late supper, and a second that gets me home about bedtime). But you need to book a seat in advance, so you need to decide which one you want, and can't just switch because you miss the first train.
